Photographs, journal articles and artificial limbs compiled by Richard Gordon Quick. Includes a copy of an article titled 'Artificial limbs go plastics' reprinted from British Plastics in March 1970, reporting on plastics made by the Powered Limbs Unit of West Hendon Hospital (who Quick worked for), photographs of the artificial limbs, photograph of a child using the artificial arms, photographs of the artificial limbs being used to draw with a pencil and pick up a glass container, photographs of beds made by West Hendon Hospital, photographs of West Hendon Hospital ambulances, photograph of polio victims. Also includes parts of the artificial limbs that Quick helped to make.
