Hanna Roseboom qualified as a nurse in 1945 and trained to become a nurse at Salford Royal Hospital. Upon qualifying she went to the West Middlesex Hospital in 1946 and did her Part 1 and Part 2 Midwifery at Paddington Hospital.
Seven lecture notebooks, one midwifery case book, one pocket notebook, wage slip, handwritten notes and examination papers compiled by Hanna Roseboom. The subjects of the lecture notebooks, used by Roseboom while as a student nurse at Salford Royal Hospital, include skin diseases, hygiene, bacteriology, anatomy, nursing, physiology, surgery, gynaecology, materia medica, first aid and nursing ethics.
