According to the article 'I Was Here: Diversity in Georgian Yorkshire' (https://secretlibraryleeds.net/2023/03/02/i-was-here-diversity-in-georgian-yorkshire/) Johann Reinhardt was a pharmacist in the city centre, and owned a chemists in Leeds during the mid-19th century.
Prescription book compiled by William Reinhardt, chemists [later Messrs J. C. Reinhardt and Sons, 76 Briggate, Leeds]. Includes an index of patients at the front of book. The prescriptions are arranged by date, with the name of the recipient above each prescription. The prescription book also contains remedies for heartburn, measles, diarrhoea, gonorrhoea, bronchitis, dysentery, indigestion, influenza, scurvy, syphilis.
