Collection compiled by Paul J Hughes of internal publications produced by John Charnley for colleagues at Charnley's Centre for Hip Surgery, at Wrightington Hospital. The collection consists of internal publications (not complete) produced by Charnley between 1966 and 1977; a book compiling the history of the Charnley Low Friction Society; articles written by John Older, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Charnley Hip Unit, following Charnley's death in 1982 including a tribute to Charnley; articles by F.
