Collection of items relating to E. G. Elbourne, Dispensing and Family Chemist, Huddersfield. Includes three prescription books (dated 1923-1947) and three dangerous drugs registers (dated 1941-1954). The prescription books are ordered by date and contain lists of prescriptions together with name of recipient. The dangerous drugs registers contain records of purchases of drugs, names of suppliers, names of persons and organisations who drugs were supplied to, and amounts obtained and supplied. Drugs recorded include morphine, diamorphine (heroine), cocaine, ecgonine, phenadoxone, physeptone, pethidine.
