Scrapbook (possibly compiled by G. Herbert Rowe of the British Medical Association, Leeds) of documents relating to the 57th annual meeting of the British Medical Association held in Leeds in 1889. The scrapbook contains accounts from the previous meeting in 1888, committee meeting notices, meeting notices and agendas, list of main committee and sub-committee members for British Medical Association (Leeds) in 1889, memorandums of administrative arrangements relating to the meeting, programme of events, arrangements for an annual Museum to be established during the meeting at the New Central Higher Grade Board School in Leeds, plan of the Museum, list of proposed excursions around Yorkshire to be undertaken by guests, samples of attendance and banquet tickets, programme of events for a banquet held at Leeds Town Hall on 15 August 1889, invitation cards to attend receptions in honour of the British Medical Association, guides to Harrogate including a copy of the Handbook of Harrogate compiled by the Harrogate Medical Association, maps of Leeds City Centre, members' admission cards, list of discussion papers for the annual meeting, list of meeting arrangements, list of donations made to cover expenses for the meeting, meeting accounts, list of members who attended the meeting, full newspaper report on the meeting orginally published in The Yorkshire Post.
