Scope and content
Zine titled 'Our Voices, Our Words' made as part of the On Our Own Terms project at Thackray Museum of Medicine, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The zine consists of 32 poems that relate to the community of Harehills in Leeds, United Kingdom, with an introduction by Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan and Natalie Tharraleos, founders of the On Our Own Terms project. The zine was designed by Lily Arnold including artwork by Faiza Ghanay and Tyra Thomas, and printed by Footprint Workers Co-op. The poems include sensitive thems including sexual violence, drugs, alcohol and child loss.
