Correspondence, applications and testimonials compiled by J T Ingram, relating to an application made by Ingram for the post of Honorary Physician to the Department of Dermatology at Leeds General Infirmary in 1927. Includes two copies of Ingram's application, correspondence from Charles E. Sundell, Senior Physician to the Seamen's Hospital in Greenwich, James H. Sequeira, Consulting Physician to the Skin Department at London Hospital, W.J. O'Donovan, Physician at London Hospital Skin Department, A.C. Roxburgh, Dean at London School of Dermatology, and Professor William Wright, Dean at London Hospital Medical College, all in support of Ingram's application, a list of Ingram's previous appointments and testimonials, a letter dated January 1924, from Charles Miller, Physician at London Hospital, providing a reference for a job Ingram had applied for in 1924, copies of University of London Faculty of Medicine examination papers dated 1926, copy of a paper by Ingram and Gunter Holti titled 'Physiotherapy in Dermatology: Postural drainage, occlusive bandaging, ultra-violet irradiation and iontophoresis', notes on the place of dermatology in the curriculum, and biographical notes on Ingram's career, including a list of publications authored between 1927 and 1959.
