Folder of documents compiled by John T. Ingram, dermatologist. Includes journal articles written by Ingram, correspondence with the Royal College of Nursing and National Council of Nurses in the United Kingdom relating to Ingram's agreement to give an inaugural address at a refresher course for nurse tutors in Edinburgh in February 1971, copy of Ingram's speech used at the event, newspaper cuttings, review of Ingram's book 'Sequeira's diseases of the skin (6th edition) a report of a visit to Australia and New Zealand by Ingram in 1954 to attend the annual congress of the Dermatological Associations of Australia and New Zealand which included comments on the standard of living in both countries and the standards and governance of hospitals, nursing and dermatology practice, copy of booklet 'Old Helean's Society - Old Boys' Notes' April 1970' recording activities of former pupils who studied at Hele's School in Exeter, including an article about Ingram's activities after retirement, correspondence from the Newcastle Regional Hospital Board in 1959 confirming that Ingram would be granted Honorary Consultant status in all Regional Hospital Board hospitals in the Newcastle area, letter to Ingram from the University of Leeds Medical Society in 1936 thanking him for his services to the society, copy of speech by Ingram titled 'The allure of Nursing' presented to the conference of nurse tutors in 1960, menu card for the Tenth International Congress of Dermatology dinner at Grosvenor House in London in 1952, correspondence from Hele's School relating to gifts and financial donations made by Ingram to the school, copy of meeting minutes in 1959 confirming Ingram's appointment to the Professorship of Dermatology at Durham University and a biography of Ingram's career prior to Ingram's appointment, correspondence sent to Ingram by Gunter Holti, consultant dermatologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary and University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, copy of the article 'Research: Prelude and First Movement' by W.B. Bean from Circulation Research: Official Journal of American Heart Association in 1955.
