A newspaper from the latter end of World War Two, showing off the sheer damage brought down upon the German stronghold town of Cleve from a heavy attack by the R.A.F. The land forces had much less success due to flooding and heavy amounts of mud preventing a ground offensive from being efficient. Churchill's visit to Athens after the Crimea Conference. The main article on the first page is about Parliamentary meetings over the week, including a proposed idea by Lord Trenchard for an Air League of Peace within Europe to prevent future wars. Requisitioned Land and War Works bills for rebuilding. Finally recommended grants to universities, particularly in the medical fields and teaching hospitals. There is no direct mention of Bernard Clive Nicholson on the paper.
